back in august, my good friend and colleague phillip smith of community bandwidth contacted me on behalf of the mozilla foundation asking if i'd participate in a course he was organizing in partnership with the hacks/hackers meetup group called "open journalism & the open web". he wanted me to give an online lecture on how journalists and developers (hacks and hackers) should work together to "take an idea from conception to launch". of course i said yes, and here's an audio recording of the talk. thanks, phillip and class!

greetings from copenhagen! i've been here all week attending drupalcon, where ezra gildesgame and i got to present on what "done" means at the economist.
like i said in a previous post, back in june i was invited by michael silverman of duo consulting to present at web content 2010. duo has posted videos of all the presentations from the conference now - the video of mine is above :)
earlier this week i got to go to chicago for the first time (w00t!) to present at web content 2010. slides above and here. thanks to the good people at duo consulting for inviting me and to my backchannel tweeps for their support. also: shout-outs to @benbrown, @eaton, @halvorson, @karenmcgrane, @robert_rose and @spenceke. great to see you all :)
back in november i was invited by the very nice people at nodeone to present at drupalcamp stockholm, which was awesome. i'd never been to sweden before, frankie came with me, and the conference itself was on a boat.
